ABOUT ME

A native of the Republic of Congo, Brazzaville, Christian Bernard Magnongui studied economic until his plans were interrupted by civil wars. He then served as assistant to the president of the Karate Association of South Africa in Johannesburg before moving to the United States in 1999.

He furthered his studies in computer technology and later worked as a loan officer and real estate assistant until the mortgage industry collapse in 2008. Then, guided by a dream, he became a direct care specialist for the mentally retarded in Austin, Texas.

Looking for ways to light up their spirit, he received his first wakeup call to use classical music for its healing powers. Later, as a volunteer math tutor for youth in Opelousas, Louisiana, a second wakeup call delivered the inspiration to develop a classical music program to help students. Thus came a dream in November 2009 detailing the researches needed to write and publish his first book on the subject—The Power of Musical Sound: how music affects our state of mind, health and society—as a tool to encourage music education in schools. This second part of this book is in your hands!

He has published three books and is currently working as independent researcher for Classical Music for Children Foundation, in the field of the pyramids and their link with climate change.
